Welcome to the Family Jaxson Bentlee Blevins!!

I have to share the best news EVER...My Nephew, Jaxson Bentlee Blevins is HERE! I know many of you thought my Sister might carry this baby for another year, but he has finally arrived! Welcome to the family Lil Jax! You are so spoiled already!

JAXSON BENTLEE BLEVINS
November 21st, 2010 (Sunday)
9lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long
Born at 9:09am
Apgar scores: 9 and 9
(I think 9 shall be his lucky number!)

Make sure you watch his expressions in all the photos below! These were taken about an HOUR after birth! He is smiling and looking around in almost all of them! He is very alert and so smart already! He was actually holding up his head while the nurses were examining him right after birth...strong AND SMART!!! Get in line ladies, I'm taking applications for dating now!

I love this picture as this was the face Mackenzie made when she first heard baby Jax cry! She was waiting outside the delivery room for "her baby Jax".

Here she is after I asked, "Is that your baby brother?" She laughed and said, "Yeeeessss!!!!"

Daddy with his 2 babies!

Jax' lil feet...or BIG feet as I say!

This pic cracks me up cause he is so happy and his belly is SO FULL from eating! Check out that buldge!

Proud Auntie with her little boy...no comments on the no make-up folks...we slept 2 hours and were at the hospital by 2:30am! He is so worth it!!!!!!!!!
Even though Papa had a full ankle replacement about a week ago, he and his scooter wheeled on up to the hospital to see Jax!

Nana and her lil man, I love how he is smiling!

Happy Birthday Stacy!

Happy Birthday to the kindest and most loving person someone could hope to spend their life with. You are a wonderful mother, wife, and friend (anyone who has met her will attest). May this new year bring you joy and happiness like you have never experienced before.

I only hope to return to you in some way the great gift God gave to Cade and I in you.

A perfect week

What a crazy week this has been! Cindy, Cade and I decided to take a trip to Fairfax, Virginia to visit Charles' Great Grandma (Mamee). Mamee is 97 and doing well. She is a joy to be around and still has a sense of humor. She is Cade's GREAT GREAT Grandmother! Imagine that! This was the first time she met Cade and it was a joy to see them together. Cade was his usual ham and into everything, and I think Mamee enjoyed having the "noise" around...well I think she enjoyed SOME of it! :) Cindy's 3 sisters also joined us (Linda, Donna, and Laura), so it was fun hanging out with all the girls! Another first was Cade riding on a plane and he has always loved planes. I am not sure he really knew what exactly to think. He did fairly well on the 3 hr plane rides, just one major screaming fit in which we huddled in the bathroom to muffle the noise for other passengers. Not our finest hour! One of the days we were there, the 4 Sisters, Cade and I went to a Farmer's Market. It was beautiful and I really wish we had some market's like this where we live! We would be eating like King's! Everything was so fresh and bright colors!
Cade trying to pick up the pumpkins...I think he wanted to test his football skills with the largest pumpkin!

The night before we left Virginia, we watched the greatest FB game of the Season on TV!! The Baylor Bears upset the Longhorns in their own stadium with a win of 30-22!! We are so proud of our bears and I just have to brag! You know ALL my UT friends are hearing about this!!! Next on the list, Oklahoma State this coming weekend, then on to conquer those Aggies. Watch out Aggies, we're coming your way!! Heeeeyyyy SIC 'EM BEARS!

To Top off the week, it was HALLOWEEN! Cade was the cutest lil Lion ever. Even though he would not "roar" while getting candy! He was a good sport and we trick-or-treated for about 20 minutes at our church festival. Then, the costume came off and Cade played around with everyone. He was not really understanding the whole idea and had more fun running around and pretending he had a football in his arms.
