Happy Halloween!

Through pouring rain, Halloween was a success! Caelin was Mal from Decendents and Cade was of course Harry Potter. A few days earlier we were able to attend a church carnival as well with family, so we were ready to go for Halloween night.  If this Momma made blonde hair turn purple and red hair turn black...then we are going out even if it is pouring rain! We had fun running between houses and getting drenched even with umbrellas. Caelin's favorite was of course waiting for her "customers" to come get candy. It was a rainy one we won't forget and it’s the memories that count. Now the candy just needs to dry out.

Universal Studios

I have no idea where to even start with the past 2 days.  We have had so much fun making memories.  I would be here forever listing all the fun moments, so I am going to attempt to let the pictures speak for themselves.  Cade's favorite was the "Escape from Gringot's" ride, walking through the Hogwarts School, and getting his wand.  Caelin enjoyed the Hogwarts train, candy from Honeyduke's, and using her wand for spells.  Charles and I loved the Butterbeer, mailing letters from Hogwarts, and watching BOTH kids get chosen at Olivander's for wands!  This place was truly amazing in every way and we cannot wait to come back.

Off to Orlando!

Thursday was a travel day as we flew to Orlando, FL for the Plexus Leader's Retreat.  It is always such a blessing to remember that Plexus is a family oriented business and celebrates us by spoiling our family.  We were so excited to fly in and start our vacation.  Through Planes, trains, buses, and cars...we made it without any problems.  We loved exploring in our rental car and checking in to the Cabana Bay Resort.  Of course the first day had to end with some swimming and fun.  On Friday, we woke up and enjoyed a day with friends and family!  We walked around City Walk and ate at Emeril's, shopped for some Harry Potter gear, played hard at the pool, water slides, pizza party, s'mores, & movie on lawn. Needless to say we were ready when bedtime came.  Saturday was spent lounging at the Gaylord Pool with water slides and surfing.  Of course we had to do a little shopping as well and then enjoyed a late night movie again at the resort.  We are ready for the REAL adventures the next 2 days at Universal Studios.  The kids are so excited to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and ride the Hogwarts express.  Charles and I are ready for some butterbeer as well!
