Here is what Baby Hall did this week. I know this took place cause I FELT IT!!! That's right...I had been thinking I was feeling stuff...but it was definitely confirmed NOT to be gas and I LOVE IT!! I feel it several times a day...and sometimes longer than others, but it is DEFINITELY there! Now I feel a whole new level of comfort as I can feel my baby is ok! We are still anxiously awaiting this Wednesday when we find out the sex! Stay tuned!
"Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid."

News...
So here's some news on what's happening...
1- We scheduled our apt to find out the sex of Baby Hall for APRIL 1st!!! So, stay tuned and I will post as soon as we find out!! Although I feel its a boy...we shall see!
2- Here is a picture of my latest "midnight snack craves"...so yummy!
3- Here is what Baby Hall was up to this week.
"Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound."
4- I finally gave into the peer pressure of Facebook and signed up a few nights ago. It is kinda tricky to navigate, but I am trying!

Starting 18 weeks of Pregnancy!
Here is what baby Hall was busy doing over our spring break...besides gaining weight from Great Grandma's cooking!
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
Another eventful aspect of this week included us purchasing a "body pillow" to help me sleep better. This particular one looks like a snake, but can be zipped up into a circle to use with the baby later. It is preety cool. Anyway, here is Charles posing with the pillow...of course, this was one of the more subtle pics...

Visiting Gangaw in Lubbock!
What could be better on Spring Break than visiting a Grandma! Most of you know already that my "Gangaw" is my everything. I love her so much! She is full of surprises and lives her life daily to the fullest. She is addicted to American Idol (who isn't I guess) and INSISTS on making every meal from scratch while we visit. SIDE NOTE: I am officially up 4 pounds on the Pregnancy thanks to her home cooking!! So, I had to post pictures of our visit for everyone to enjoy.
The Bluebonnets are in!! Brenham was beautiful! I couldn't believe they are already here!
I couldn't resist stopping to take a close-up!
The 8 hour drive was filled with LOTS of fields, especially cotton!
Welcome to the Panhandle...these oil rigs are everywhere!
This treasure is called a "Nano" size cache. It is no bigger than the tip of your finger and was magnetically placed under an electrical box in a city park. Here we are trying to just get it open to sign the paper inside indicating we were there.
Ok, this is Grandma "Geocaching"...for those of you who are asking, "WHAT is that?"...check out http://www.geocaching.com/ for more details...it is fun and FREE! Basically, you get coordinates all over your town, city, state, country, etc. and you go look for treasures that people have hidden! Gangaw calls it "Huntin'." Here she is "huntin" in the bushes!

Gangaw and I walking to hunt for the treasure!
Charles and Gangaw checking under a bench.
We found one! This was a small one we found in the crook of the tree on the right. We even found some bubbles and crayons in this one!

Just Finished 4 months of Pregnancy!
Raise a smile to the completion of week 16!!! I am officially 4 months prego!! For some reason today the baby decided to really pop out and you can see my tummy pretty well. I usually say it just depends on what I am wearing, but today was different and MUCH more prominent! Not huge to what most of you are thinking...but it look HUGE to me! Here is what is happened with Baby Hall this week, and a belly pic for you to enjoy!
"How your baby's growing: Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop."

The Bachelor...
WHAT??? IS ABC KIDDING US RIGHT NOW??? Don't get me wrong, I want the guy to be in love just like everyone else, but POOR MELISSA! I thought nothing could shock me, and WOW...well, ABC wins this award for the year! I especially loved the part where my DVR cut off right in the middle of his explanation...NICE...not that I am bitter. I will definitiely tune in tomorrow to the "Final Rose, Part 2"...but is anyone else confused, and heart broken for Melissa?
Come on Jason, we love ya...but REALLY???

Happy National Pig Day!!
For those of you who do not know, Charles' Mom is an avid supporter of pigs and celebrates in great style on National Pig Day (no she does not eat bacon to celebrate). The best part about it is that she makes it a learning experience for her entire Elementary school! She brings up Pigs for the kids to come and pet, and even makes gifts for all the teachers (this year it was cute pink bandanas with "National Pig Day" Iron on pictures). So, on behalf of Cindy and all Pig lovers out there...Happy National Pig Day!!
PS- Even Baylor got a bandana this year to show his spirit for the Pigs!
