Cade's 1st T-Ball game!
Cade's first T-ball game went better than expected! We have had a couple of rough practices with the team (last Thurs, we might have cried for 20 minutes...), so we were hoping today would be better. He had 2 runs, and was a great sport cheering on his teammates the entire game. We were also able to pick some clovers in the outfield, complete a home run with a mouth full of fruit snacks, and ran to second base with a helmet covering our face. All in all, we are proud of our little man and looking forward to our next game!

A Weekend with Gamee and Grampee
While we were in Dallas for Lizzy's wedding, Cade/Caelin had a fun filled weekend with Gamee and Grampee! They started with a trip to Brenham where they stayed in a hotel and watched Grampee run in the Bluebell race! I loved getting all the pictures of them eating ice cream (every picture had a different ice cream novelty in it) and running around everywhere. I could tell the kids were loving every minute of it. After the race, they had some fun admiring the bluebonnets, and then headed home. The fun never stopped all weekend with lots of spoiling and even canoeing on Sunday after church. Cade made me laugh so hard trying to tell me about all his "adventures" over the weekend. THANK you to Gamee and Grampee for loving and spoiling our babies so we could celebrate with Lizzy! We love you.

My Best Friend's Wedding
As everyone knows, my BFF Lizzy (Elizabeth to all others), is THAT friend that comes along once in a lifetime. I have been blessed by our friendship for over 25 years, and no doubt will be by her side our entire lives. Leaving all the mushy stuff aside, our family was honored to celebrate her marriage to David on April 13, 2013 in Dallas, TX. To honor Lizzy, My Mom, Sister, and I through a Bridal Luncheon on the Friday before at the Melrose Warwick Hotel. It was such a nice time to relax, enjoy company, good food, and mimosas. The rest of Friday evening was spent at the Rehearsal and beautiful dinner at the Park City Club. Saturday was really the most relaxing Bridal day I have ever been a part of! We had the Dry Bar of Dallas and a personal make-up artist doing all the hard work while we laughed, played games, and ate a great lunch. We were actually all finished and ready to head to church an hour early! When we left the Belo Mansion, we rode a trolley to the Church where we quickly got dressed, took pics, and then headed to the main event! I know I am partial, but Lizzy was the most BEAUTIFUL Bride I have ever seen. Her dress, hair, make-up etc was perfect and I loved how her personality shined through every detail of the wedding. After a wonderful ceremony, we headed back to the Belo to start the reception. The memories from the evening were truly amazing and I loved seeing all our old friends and catching up. Lizzy and David left the ceremony in style as they drove off in a Rolls Royce. Congratulations to my BFF Lizzy and the man God created for her, David. We love you two!
