Nonnie and Poppie's 50th Wedding Anniversary

This weekend was a special event for our family.  Nonnie and Poppie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary!  Nana and Papa came into town and we were able to spend some time with them Saturday Night before the big day.  The even was perfect at Northgate Country Club and we ate some tasty appetizers, had a beautiful toast and delicious cake.  There was a great crowd and it made us all happy to be able to celebrate together with friends and family.  Here's to many more years of wedded bliss and the continued amazing example of love.

Caelin's 1st Soccer Game

Well, it went better than expected.  All of the kids at least headed toward the right goal 75% of the time.  We did experience one kid licking the goal, several fits and crying, and at one point a coach from a neighboring field came to retrieve two of his players scoring on one of our goals.  Now that's what I call a successful game, Ha!  Who wants to join us next Saturday at 9am?!
