Another tooth for Cade!

Cade would like me to let the world know he lost another tooth today and he now has "a window". This time we were very creative. Gamee and Grampee tried various techniques like tying dental floss around spare tile and then dropping it, tying dental floss around a toy gun and shooting it, and then we also tried the old tying dental floss around a door and slamming it. None worked, so we reverted to the good old countdown and then Daddy pull it out. Yeah Cade!

Cade's Kindergarten patriotic program

We have been practicing these patriotic songs for a few weeks in our house and were glad to see them come to life in the Kindergarten program at Ehrhardt today.  I know Papa was laughing to hear the "Grand Ole Flag" being sung at top notch by over 100 Kindergartners.  Ha!  Cade did great and was in charge of leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.  He did a beautiful job, and everyone giggled when Cade motioned with both hands and told everyone to "be seated" afterward.  Cade did all the motions and sang the songs, but as his Mama I know singing is just not his preferred choice of activity.  He was however the most intelligent, handsome, and important student to us!

Valentine weekend fun!

Valentine's Day was on a Sunday this year so we decided to celebrate all weekend long!  On Saturday we woke up and went to the movies as a family, shopping, and then dinner at Molly's pub.  On Sunday, we packed a lunch to enjoy at the park after church, went shopping, met the entire Hall family for frozen yogurt and then had family movie night.  It was such a joyful weekend to be together with no worries, lots of sunshine and happy memories.  Wish every day was like this weekend!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE our sweet family and all the blessings God has given us.  We truly do not deserve all that we have been blessed with!
