Egg Hunt in Woodtrace

We were so excited for our first community event in Woodtrace.  The kids were ready to hunt eggs and make new friends.  We are blessed that both things happened!  The afternoon was filled with crafts, flying kites, cookies by the pool, outdoor games, meeting new friends and of course an egg hunt.  Thanks to God for perfect weather and a great event.  To finish out the evening, we had a quick swim (brrr), colored Easter eggs, and made chocolate covered desserts.  We look forward to celebrating Easter day tomorrow.

Family fishing fun!

We could not have ended Spring Break any better than a family fishing trip to Port O'Connor with cousins!  One of our happy places is outside and fishing.  The cousins loved being together, making lots of noise, eating junk food on the boat, and of course the occasional fights.  You know it was a great trip when both Cade and Caelin cried on the way home cause they missed Kennybug and Jax.  We are so blessed for moments like these and memories that make us laugh.
