The cousins go to Grapeland

Gamee and Grampee were feeling brave and took the cousins to Grapeland for a weekend of fun.  I am not sure where they get the energy.  The cousins LOVE spending time together and Grapeland is always a winning location. 

Caelin's Leaders in Training

Over the past year as a 4th grade Caelin has been excited to be able to take part in the LIT program at the church as a 5th grade. As a 5th grader, kids can be a 5th Grade LIT (Leader in Training). Caelin had to fill out an application and even sign an agreement form regarding her dedication to the program if she was selected. After praying over the decision, she learned that she had been accepted in the program. As an LIT, she will: Serve in Kids Ministry before and after services, during Kids Worship and Life Group. Each month she will rotate between serving areas to learn different roles and responsibilities. She says she is most excited about working in the Special Blessings department (special needs ministry). In addition, one Wednesday a month before midweek, she will get to meet with a CFBC Pastor or leader to learn about their role and get some great leadership training and tips.  We are so proud of her and it brings a huge smile to our faces knowing she is so happy.

Family Day

I am thankful for days like today where the 4 of us get to explore new eating places, geocache, play games, watch movies, and create a launching system for stuffed animal across the house.  Ha!  We were also finally able to move along 5 different travel bugs from Montana into geocaches here in Texas. A busy day indeed filled with lots of laughter!  

20 years in Education

I am grateful to be starting my 20th year serving in education today! I look forward to all the challenges and ways we will grow this year. Let's do this!

Carolina Creek

Our babies spent 4 days at Carolina Creek Church camp with friends.  Caelin brought Hayden and Cade brought Connor and Parker.  We prayed so hard for God to speak to each of them during this week and for them to not only have fun, but try new things.  They came back with HUGE smiles and talked nonstop about all their adventures.  Thank you to Carolina Creek and CFBC for spoiling our babies this week!
