CANADA

We finally decided on what our summer vacation will be this year as a family of 4!  We will fly into Bellingham, Washington and explore Washington and Vancouver, Canada.  We could not wait to tell the kids and show them all our research.  Tonight, we gave them a puzzle and they were over the moon when they figured out it was a Canadian flag.  Watching their eyes light up when we showed them some of the places we were going to explore was worth every second of the planning.  They are most excited to use their passports for the first time ever! 

Kalahari with Hayden

Caelin loves spending time with her friend Hayden and this year for Hayden's Birthday, the girls took a trip to Kalahari in Round Rock, TX.  They were spoiled all weekend and Caelin truly cannot stop talking about it.  We love seeing these 2 girls smiling!

  

Houston Marathon

Grampee reminded us again this year about how you can do anything when you put your mind to it.  This year he ran the half marathon and we all watched his progress through the app.  He beat his personal goal on time and we were able to celebrate that afternoon when he arrived home as a family.  I am so proud of the way he sets an example for all the Grandkids that with hard work and determination, you can do ALL things!

Daddy's Birthday

Today we would have celebrated your 74th birthday. Not a day has passed without thinking of you. My heart will always be heavy wishing you were here, but I smile thinking of you. We would have annoyed you all day long with the phone ringing and pranks. Happy birthday Daddy!

Bunco, starting year #5

Time certainly flies and I cannot believe our group is starting year 5 together.  Each year we have had a member or 2 sit out due to family commitments, but overall our group has been together for a long time now.  We have seen babies being born, laughed, and cried together.  It truly is an outlet of joy every month.  Even when our family priorities are great, we can all count on the first Friday of every month to be together.  I get the honor of starting us off each year in January and this year we celebrated with a NYE theme.  CHEERS to a new year of the Bunco Babes! 

Galveston with Gamee and Grampee!

Since the kids had a few extra days off before school started, they were spoiled with an adventure trip to Galveston with Gamee and Grampee.  It makes our hearts so very happy to see them making memories together!
