OG's in Brenham

I was able to spend the weekend in Brenham with the OG’s and it was rejuvenating as always.  Very few people understand the role we do to support our school district and what we struggle with on a daily basis.  6 years ago, I was hired for a new position and had a lot of crazy dreams for our district.  I could never have accomplished any of this by myself.  When I was given 3 positions to assist in my efforts, I prayed over the people I wanted for these positions and Anna, Emily, and Megan instantly came to mind.  When we started together, we did not know each other well.  I am thankful God took that first year to create a bond in us that could never be broken.  Through the years we have laughed, cried, screamed, and laughed a thousand times more.  We truly know ALL of each other and still love each other unconditionally.  Like all great friendships, we do not always agree, get frustrated, have had to apologize, and often give each other “the look”.  No matter what life has brought, we stick together.  Even after Emily has moved on for a great promotion, we value our time together and Brenham was no different.  We spent Friday night at the house with pizza and a whole lot of laughs.  Saturday was filled with brunch, shopping, and a yummy dinner out. Can’t wait to be together again soon!  

“Mullets, Mayhem, and Murder”

How could anyone turn down a 40^th Birthday surprise with that title?  The costumes were SPOT ON and kept us laughing even when we were all in character.  It was an unforgettable evening with the Framily.  Happy Birthday Ben!
