Playin Catch up...

So, where do I even begin now?! Cade is now almost 10 months and I am truly amazed at how time has flown by! Remember when I just found out I was pregnant? And now think, that was over a year and a hlaf ago! This journey has been one CRAZY ride, but the most fullfilling of my life. There is nothing like his little smile (or smirk) when you hold him. He is now crawling around (and quickly) I might add! We pull up on everything and love to dance to music! Cade says, "Dada" and "Nana" (which I think is "Mama"). He will look at people when you ask where they are (Mama, Dada, Baylor, etc.). He loves to look at real pictures of family and people he recognizes. And he will point with his finger to your eyes, nose, and mouth. He is really very smart and ALWAYS HAPPY! A few weeks ago we had his 9 month appt and he weighed in at a hefty 23lbs (87%), and was 28inches. Basically I have one chunky monkey, and I LOVE IT!!
I am posting some of my favorite momments over the last 7 weeks since I posted...i know I am bad and went on post strike...yikes.
So, this is what I came home to one night. As the story was told, Cade crawled, Cade fell, Cade bumped head, Daddy arrived on scene, and Daddy treated with Mommy's face pack that was in the freezer. Actually, a smart one in my opinion. And Cade was happy to leave it strapped on and eat puffs to ease the pain.
Dancin with Daddy on the counter...to America's favorite, "Pants on the ground"...
On Mommy's day off, we got to visit our Cousin Rob at the Bank!
My new favorite spot, the freezer. I like to touch all the cold things. Then, once my thighs are frozen, Mommy makes me get out...bummer.
Daydreaming...
At Lake Conroe while visiting Brad and Carmen on the water!
Checking out the flowers while on a walk with Gam-ee
So tired I fell asleep while eating my puffs! Notice the one little straggler puff danglin from my hand!
Swimming at Gam-ee's, they call me the Michelin Man. Hubba hubba...
Chilin with my toothbrush while on a walk
Gam-ee brought me up to see Daddy at his school...everyone thought I was SO CUTE!
Passed out in Mommy's arms
Must have been a long day!
In the swing at Gam-ee's house!
Getting spoiled while staying the night at Gam-ee and Gramp-ee's. This was my first time to even taste ice cream and I already know how to eat it! All you have to do in unhinge your jaw like a snake and GO FOR IT!

Joey says, "I do!"

Growing up in San Antonio, I met one of my dearest friends named Joey. We were inseparable in 3rd/4th grade until I moved to Round Rock. Even though we were miles apart, we wrote to each other very faithfully and we still have all our letters! Now, 20 somethin years later, here we are at Joey's wedding. I could not be happier for her and the life she is beginning with Ryan. I wish you all the luck and happiness life has to offer! They got married at one of the most beautiful venues that I have ever seen! It is called Flat Creek Estate in Marble Falls (it's a vineyard!). It is truly breath taking and so was Joey! Here are a few pics below!

It was a honor to be there with you and I am praying for you as you start your new life with Ryan! Love ya, "Mama"

AXO Reunion at Baylor

Hard to believe, but we just celebrated 25 years of our Sorority on Baylor campus! Alpha Chi Omega gave me my best friends and many who stood next to me in my wedding. I remember my freshman year at Baylor and my Sister Mendy telling me how she wanted me to join her sorority. I can recall thinking, "Yeah right!" at first. But after Rush and 3 years later...I cannot imagine what my college life would be like without it. Thanks Mendy, as always I owe you! Words could never express all the life lessons and friendships I cherish from those years! Thanks Sistas! A few of us at the Baseball game
Jessica and I...we actually met while working this year in our school district, then found out we were sisters! Love ya Jess!
Some of our pledge class! We actually have more like 50 in our pledge class, but here's a few that could come back to Waco and stir up trouble for the reunion.
My 2 AXO buds, Lizzy and Britni. Without them, my world would crumble.
