What a crazy week this has been! Cindy, Cade and I decided to take a trip to Fairfax, Virginia to visit Charles' Great Grandma (Mamee). Mamee is 97 and doing well. She is a joy to be around and still has a sense of humor. She is Cade's GREAT GREAT Grandmother! Imagine that! This was the first time she met Cade and it was a joy to see them together. Cade was his usual ham and into everything, and I think Mamee enjoyed having the "noise" around...well I think she enjoyed SOME of it! :) Cindy's 3 sisters also joined us (Linda, Donna, and Laura), so it was fun hanging out with all the girls! Another first was Cade riding on a plane and he has always loved planes. I am not sure he really knew what exactly to think. He did fairly well on the 3 hr plane rides, just one major screaming fit in which we huddled in the bathroom to muffle the noise for other passengers. Not our finest hour! One of the days we were there, the 4 Sisters, Cade and I went to a Farmer's Market. It was beautiful and I really wish we had some market's like this where we live! We would be eating like King's! Everything was so fresh and bright colors!
Cade trying to pick up the pumpkins...I think he wanted to test his football skills with the largest pumpkin!

The night before we left Virginia, we watched the greatest FB game of the Season on TV!! The Baylor Bears upset the Longhorns in their own stadium with a win of 30-22!! We are so proud of our bears and I just have to brag! You know ALL my UT friends are hearing about this!!! Next on the list, Oklahoma State this coming weekend, then on to conquer those Aggies. Watch out Aggies, we're coming your way!! Heeeeyyyy SIC 'EM BEARS!
To Top off the week, it was HALLOWEEN! Cade was the cutest lil Lion ever. Even though he would not "roar" while getting candy! He was a good sport and we trick-or-treated for about 20 minutes at our church festival. Then, the costume came off and Cade played around with everyone. He was not really understanding the whole idea and had more fun running around and pretending he had a football in his arms.

Grayson was a lion this year, too! Too fun! I was wondering where that red hair came from and then I saw your aunts. I guess it runs in the family. So cute! <3 -Megan Newton
