Check out Dad's late life crisis! Check out his hot wheels! Here are some stats off my Sister's blog (since she beat me to the post already! Thanks Sis...). I can't wait to drive this baby!
This is the Mopar Challenger, a special edition car that Mopar (now Dodge) designed and brought back from the original muscle car. The blue stripe and accents are the original mopar blue color! How ironic that before Mopar became Mopar, they were Plymouth...and the same blue color. There are only 500 of these cars made in the US and canada and Dad got #267. There are 3 color choices for the accents and pinstripe: blue, silver, and red. Dad of course chose the blue and the original car is a pearl black color. So far, Dad has the only one of these in South Texas! We heard their might have been one delivered up in North Texas, but we are not sure. It runs almost 400HP stock and has a 5.7 liter hemi V-8 engine, gloss black wheels, a black chromed grill, functional hood scoops and vintage hood pins reminiscent of pony car area of the 1960's and 1970's. It is a beautiful car!
