Pheasant Hunt

Today was the annual True North Outfitters pheasant hunt.  It is always a good time for Daddy and Cade to be together, shoot things, and eat stuff grilled out.  What could be better than that for a guys day out?!

More Soccer

As we wrapped up one season with Team Freedom, we began another on Philadelphia Union.  We love our soccer.

Happy Valentine's Day!

The kids celebrated Valentine's Day a day early since Valentine's was on a student holiday for them this year.  Caelin decided to use her old unicorn valentine box that she made with Gamee a few year ago, and Cade decided he would make a robot this year as part of the class challenge to use recycled materials.  I thought he and Gamee did an AMAZING job!  They both came home loaded up on sugar and filled with excitement to read all their notes.  Since the kids did not have school today, so they spent the day with Gamee and Grampee. Little did we know they had planned a dinner for us. When we got to the house, we had candle light and hearts along the walkway. The table was set with candle lights and decor with china plates. Dinner was served by the cutest 2 waiters complete with crab cake and bacon wrapped shrimp appetizers, salad, stuffed salmon, wild rice, asparagus, and crescent rolls. Dessert was homemade chocolate lava cake! It was all so delicious. Our favorite part were the poems read during the dinner by each of them. Every detail was perfect and it is easily my favorite Valentine's Day now. I must say the managers of this restaurant did a fantastic job training the waiters and we are officially making reservations every year at this location!

Date nights

Last night, Charles and I asked the kids on dates for tonight! Daddy asked Caelin and I asked Cade on a date and they both said yes. I would say it was a date night success and memories we will hopefully never forget! Cade chose Cajun and Caelin chose Mexican. Such a blessing to have 1:1 time with these amazing kiddos. We are so lucky to be their parents. Now we are settling in for the usual Friday night movie night. Perfect evening!

So thankful and blessed that God brought these two beautiful souls (and their families) into my life. Loved sharing quality time, conversation, laughs, and delicious bites with my tribe over a leisurely brunch.
