The kids celebrated Valentine's Day a day early since Valentine's was on a student holiday for them this year. Caelin decided to use her old unicorn valentine box that she made with Gamee a few year ago, and Cade decided he would make a robot this year as part of the class challenge to use recycled materials. I thought he and Gamee did an AMAZING job! They both came home loaded up on sugar and filled with excitement to read all their notes. Since the kids
did not have school today, so they spent the day with Gamee and Grampee. Little
did we know they had planned a dinner for us. When we got to the house, we had
candle light and hearts along the walkway. The table was set with candle lights
and decor with china plates. Dinner was served by the cutest 2 waiters complete
with crab cake and bacon wrapped shrimp appetizers, salad, stuffed salmon, wild
rice, asparagus, and crescent rolls. Dessert was homemade chocolate lava cake!
It was all so delicious. Our favorite part were the poems read during the
dinner by each of them. Every detail was perfect and it is easily my favorite
Valentine's Day now. I must say the managers of this restaurant did a fantastic
job training the waiters and we are officially making reservations every year
at this location!
