So long 2020, don't let the door hit ya on the way out!

Our 2020 highlights through the midst of Covid-19:

- Virtual learning & zooms taught us patience

- Cooking together (mainly ice cream) taught us to exercise more

- Enjoying the outdoors (hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, & more) taught us to be thankful for beauty in the small things

- Closing of non-essential businesses taught us that we can cut our own hair...kind of

- Cade entering 5th grade and Caelin starting 3rd reminded us that time does not stand still

- Football & Soccer seasons taught us to focus on making ourselves better

for the benefit of the team 

- Spending so much time together taught us to choose joy because our attitudes will

influence those around us

- Through it all, God reminded us to love the world around us and be kind to those in it

Happy 4th Birthday Bear!

Happy 4th birthday to our Bear! He always greets us with his smiles and brings joy daily to us all. He is THE best snuggler and always wants to be in the same room as us. He is the most faithful companion. He has a unique sense to know when someone needs a hug, and never leaves my side when I am down. He knows just when to cause a funny distraction.  We laugh at how he knows when we need to give him medicine and will hide or snarl his lip in protest. Since he has to have a special vegan diet, he was treated with banana, applesauce, sweet potatoes, and a rice crispy cake Gamee made.  We love you Bear Bear, you are one of the best gifts our family ever received!
