CFBC Serve Saturday

What a special morning indeed!  Our church had its annual Serve Saturday and we were delighted to join in on serving our community.  Our family signed up to feed the homeless around the 1960 corridor.  We started the morning with prayer and after loading some trucks, we headed out.  The kids enjoyed walking around to find people to serve, serving hot meals, and handing our cold water and new tshirts.  These are the moments that make me smile.  I never want our kids to forget the feeling of helping others.  Everyone should have a desire to help others, whether it is something small like a smile or simple like a meal.  

Caelin's horseback lessons

Caelin has been excelling at her horseback lessons and trots on a regular basis.  Tonight they practiced trotting without the stirrups.  She is looking forward to cantering and jumping soon!

Tomball Star Academy Prom

 After a sweet Prom proposal, how could I say no?  Gamee/Grampee helped watch the kids so we could chaperone the TSA Prom.  Since Charles is an Administrator, he had to be there all night and this is the 2nd year I have joined him.  We only heard one country song all not, so we did finally get one dance in.  Even though the music was not country and a bit loud, but the students had a great time.  Ha!  Regardless, the Whataburger breakfast tacos were a great touch to end the evening as everyone was leaving.  So thankful for my forever date in Charles.
