What a special morning indeed! Our church had its annual Serve Saturday and we were delighted to join in on serving our community. Our family signed up to feed the homeless around the 1960 corridor. We started the morning with prayer and after loading some trucks, we headed out. The kids enjoyed walking around to find people to serve, serving hot meals, and handing our cold water and new tshirts. These are the moments that make me smile. I never want our kids to forget the feeling of helping others. Everyone should have a desire to help others, whether it is something small like a smile or simple like a meal.
