Solar Eclipse

Today, a solar eclipse occurred! It captivated observers as the moon passed between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow on parts of the Earth's surface including a lot of Texas. The day that was talked about for weeks finally arrived. Unfortunately there wasn’t much to see, and not because of the total eclipse. The weather was rainy and very cloudy. In fact the schools were not even allowed to take the kids outside as originally planned because of the bad weather. In the end it went from sunny to rainy and eventually pretty dark outside. In total the eclipse lasted just over 4 minutes. Even though the solar eclipse glasses weren't used and the eclipse was watched online, it was still a day to remember.
