Family and friends came together to celebrate two remarkable ladies, Gamee, who turned 68, and Aunt Pat, who reached the grand age of 90. Gamee did not want any attention for her birthday as she feared it would take away from Aunt Pat. We could not resist spoiling her though with some gifts before Aunt Pat's festivities began. Her celebration took place at our house since their were lots of guests at Gamee and Grampee’s. We had gifts and breakfast ready for her to show her some love. As for Pat, she had guests come from various states including Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, and Rhode Island to join the festivities. The surprise celebration had a butterfly theme and started at Sylvia's Mexican Restaurant and continued at the family church, where everyone enjoyed cake, cookies, and drinks. Even the kids had a blast playing in the gymnasium, making it a joyous occasion for all.
