February Fun...

Go Mac go!

We sure do love our Mackenzie and cannot believe this is her Senior year.  We have watched her play soccer for almost 15 years, so to think this season of her life is coming to an end is hard to grasp.  Even though it was almost 6 hours round trip, we knew we had to be there for her rival game against Georgetown.  We were so proud of Mac as defender and her team pulled off a BIG WIN at 4-0!  After the game, we ate dinner at Raising Canes before heading home.  So proud of you Mac, Go Hawks! 

Caelin's 1st Track Meet

So proud of our girl for her 1st track meet ever! She continues to amaze us with her determination to try new things and grit. She loves running Cross Country, but Track is a new “sport” to her.  We were surprised when she said she wanted to try High Jump, but she definitely did well!  Results of her very first track meet were: 1st Place High Jump (4'6"), 3rd place 4x400, no place in 400m, and 6th place 800m.  What a great chilly (and LONG) evening!

Nana time and some Tax Prep

This time of year always brings a quick trip to Round Rock for girl time and tax prep. I got spoiled with church, meals with the fam, celebration pedicure with Mom after tax prep was done, and laughing with my Sis. There is nothing quite like laughing and not counting calories.
