Ricky turns 6!!

Our precious lil Godson is turning 6! How can it be that time flies SO FAST and he is now fixing to start Kindergarten? I remember the day he came home from the hospital like it was yesterday. Ricky has such a kind spirit and he is such a happy kid. His personality is vibrant and will earn him many friends as he starts his new career in Kinder. As I watched him play today with all his friends, I realized what a blessing he has been in our lives. I cannot tell you what it means to see him run over and give us a hug after coming home from a stressful day! We just love that lil man!

Family Cruise!!

Where do I even begin? As a surprise, my parents decided to take our entire family on an adult cruise! We were so excited as "us 6" hardly get to do anything special anymore with just the adults. Mackenzie and Cade got to spend a week with their Grandparents while us adults went on a week long cruise to Key West, FL and the Bahamas! So, before I brag on how much fun we had, let me just say this would NOT have been possible without the help of Gam-ee and Gramp-ee who watched my little angel! WE LOVE YOU and are SO GRATEFUL! The cruise was so much fun and we took advantage of every second! We visited the Spa (a personal favorite), watched shows, drank fruity drinks, gambled a little, laid in the sun, swam with dolphins, went to the Atlantis waterpark, shopped in the Bahamas, took tours of the islands, Charles did a Harley ride in the Bahamas, and SO MUCH MORE! Here are just a few of the 400 pics we took! This was a trip I will never forget and thank you Mom and Dad for this amazing adventure! We are so lucky to have had this with you!

Big Cat's Fishin' Trip

Here are a few pictures of the Fishing Trip Fred and Charles took offshore with Baylor Letterman Association. They had a lot of big fish and looks like we will get a fish fry soon! Whoo Hoo!!

11 months old...

Could it really be that my perfect little gift is already 11 months? Time flies by SO FAST and it just seems like yesterday he fit in my arms! I love him more everyday and I love his personality that is now coming out. Here are a few things that Cade is up to!

• He has 6 teeth!
• Weighs in at a hefty 27 pounds
• Will eat anything we have tried EXCEPT broccoli, seems to like weenies the best at the moment
• Gives kisses with mouth wide open and slobber all on your face! I love it!
• Crawls faster than anything I have ever seen
• Can stand for a few seconds on his own, will walk around furniture and transfer from one object to another
• Is a TOTAL Climber, climbs bookshelves, tables, anything! He will actually drag his toys over to use them as step stools and then crawl on the coffee table! YIKES!
• LOVES birds/airplanes! He will watch them outside and point to them.
• He will mimick just about anything you do
• enjoys screaming to get attention...not the fussy scream, the piercing of the ears shrill! Then, when you look at him, he will laugh.
• Favorite toy is still the dumptruck. He likes to push/ride/and honk the horn
• Will point out people/animals in book (dog, pig, etc)
• Will say "Mama" and "Dada" when he sees a picture of us
• Likes long walks at night (like 45 minutes or more!)
• Enjoys watching other kids play outside
• When thinking or seeing something for the first time, he will raise one eyebrow and look at you...this could be my favorite!
• Will now put up toys in a bucket if you say "put in"
• Enjoys bathtime and will start screaming with glee when you draw the water

Seriously, I COULD GO ON FOR HOURS!! The list above is only from about 10 minutes on the computer! We love you Cade Beatty and happy 11 months today!

IT's A BOY!!!!!!!!!

My sister had her 20 week sonogram today and found out IT's A BOY!!!!!! I am SO EXCITED to get a nephew! Now her family will be complete with 1 girl and 1 boy! We are so excited! The Doc said her due date would still remain around November 25th...So, it looks like it might be a Thanksgiving baby! Of course, I say anytime is the perfect time for a BABY!!! Thank you God for the blessing of a baby boy and thank you for all the good reports, measurements and healthy status! His name will be Jaxson "Jax" Bentlee Blevins! Welcome lil Jax! Here's proof he's gonna be a big little BOY...

Ps- Mendy has only gained 12 pounds at this point and is doing a GREAT job staying healthy with eating/exercise! Doesn't she look adorable?!!

Christopher Proposes to Heather!!!

Charles' brother, Christopher, popped the question yesterday to his girlfriend of over a year. He was so handsome and wore a suit down to Hermann Park where he surprised her with the question. He was totally prepared and had music for them to dance to, 3 boxes of rose petals, and of course a BEAUTIFUL Halo ring! She was so surprised! After the proposal, they came back to Cindy/Fred's house with her parents and we all celebrated with dinner and dessert. Cindy and I had dinner prepared with candles lit and flowers. Of course the night would not be complete without them getting a gift, so we thought it was only fitting to give them a wedding planner! Heather was excited, and Christopher was just shaking his head. We all laughed and told Christopher that is was on now! We can't wait to hear all their exciting plans in the months to come and see them both as they soon wed. CONGRATULATIONS Christopher and Heather! We love yall!
