HHHeeeeeyyyyyyy SIC 'EM BEARS!

This weekend we drove to Waco for Baylor Homecoming. Cade is getting accustomed to going to every game and loves it when he sees the stadium. He is a real hoot to watch. He points at the football all during the game and yells when the crowd does! He catches on quickly! Being at Homecoming was enough, but then came the BIG WIN! We won our 6th game of the Season, which means we are BOWL BOUND! We are so proud of our Bears and they really played well this past weekend. We look forward to the next 2 weekends against UT and A&M. Here are a few Homecoming pics!Yelling after we scored another Touchdown

Then, to top off the weekend, we were able to go to the Pumpkin Patch Sunday night with Gam-ee and Gramp-ee! Here are some Pumpkin pics to get you in the mood!
Cade wanted to take them all home cause he could carry them like footballs...

I couldn't resist this pic! I know this is total blackmail for all of us!

Happy 4th BD to our little Princess!

About 4 years ago, our Family was blessed with the most adorable and fun loving niece ever. Her name is Mackenzie Reese Blevins. The best way to describe Mackenzie (AKA: "Kennybug") is that she is truly a Princess. We love every moment we get to spoil her. I wish we lived closer to spoil her more with Cherry Sprite's from Sonic and picnics with Cade. She is already stepping up to be a big sister and practices with Cade. Although you should see a 32 lb 4 yr old try and carry a 28lb 14 month old! We adore you Kennybug and are so proud of the little "Princess" you have become! Happy 4th BD!

The jumper and millions of gifts!

It's true!! Kids do like the box rather than the gifts, Hahahaha!

I took this pic as an FYI...I learned today from my Sis, that it is worth paying the extra $20 to have the jumper delivered and picked up by the company! So, if anyone ever gets one of these, consider yourself warned! It is heavy to pack/haul!

The fairest Princess of them all...

And, here's an added bonus! This is my Beautiful Sis at 33-34 weeks. She has a big man in there! I love you "all the way around the world and back again!"

What you've missed

As you know this is football season, so you pretty much can guess what we've been up to. Baylor won both games against Rice University and Kansas yesterday, Sic 'em Bears! Here are some pics over the last few weeks to keep you updated! So, what's your guess? A snapper like Daddy...
...or a quarterback???
Put me in coach!
Practicing around the house
Ready for a real bike ride! Don't worry, it will be MANY years before Mom (and Gam-ee) allow that!
I love walks in my wagon every day
and getting dirty!
Drawing a crowd at HEB, Daddy thinks I should get paid as the greeting committee!
I enjoy car rides, if I have my ball
Visiting the Pediatric Opthamologist, I had one eye turning in a little. I got a good report and don't have to wear a patch. Just have to follow up in a few months and make sure my eye muscles continue to grow.
I did however, have to get my eyes dilated...NOT FUN!
Whew, what a visit to the doc!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLES!

We had a great weekend celebrating Charles' 31st Birthday. I am so proud of the man he has become and what he means to Cade and I. He works all day to come home and work even harder for us. We love you Big Daddy! We started by going out to dinner with my parents to Saltgrass. A steak/potato dinner is the PERFECT way to celebrate anything!
Next we headed off for a couples retreat to Ft. Worth where we were able to make the 3rd Baylor game in a row this season. We got to see the beautiful campus of TCU.
And the amazing Baylor Cheerleaders.... hehehe...seriously, a cupie is hard!
Then, tonight we were able to celebrate with Charles' family at dinner. Gam-ee, Gramp-ee, Christopher, and Heather were all there to make it complete. We had some home cookin, and enjoyed a special rice crispy Birthday cake made with love by Gam-ee and Cade.
The best part of the weekend was having a mini vacation, just Charles and I in Ft. Worth. After the game, we got all dressed up and went to dinner at our favorite place IN THE WORLD, Reata's! Our dinner included: Appetizer- Smoked quail on a bed of jalepeno cheese grits, Stacy- Grilled Mahi Mahi with Lobster Florentine, Charles- 10 oz. Buffalo Steak with homemade mash, Dessert- Chocolate Ganache dessert taco's with homemade cinnamon ice cream. Are you drooling yet? I told you it is the BEST resturant ever! Dinner is fancy, but lunch is relaxed and 2 people can eat lavishly for under $30. If you are ever in Ft. Worth, got to REATA's! While we were living life, Cade had a blast with Gam-ee and Gramp-ee! My baby is SO SPOILED! He had a busy weekend as well...
First they were off to the races...
Then came a wardrobe change into his swimsuit (CHECK OUT THOSE ROLLS!)
Then came some water fun
Dangerous rides with fierce animals

Here he is playing football with some family. He would run after the football, get it, then run and throw it at them. Gam-ee said the family was super nice and let Cade show them a few tricks. I told you I have another FB player on the way!
All tuckered out after a long day! Thank you Gam-ee and Gramp-ee for keeping Cade and Baylor so we could enjoy a special treat. We love and appreciate all you do! We are so blessed to have you!
Happy Birthday to the world's greatest man, husband, dad, and friend! I love you Charles, SHMILY!

Are you ready for some Football?

As the Baylor Season opened this past weekend, you KNOW we were there to cheer on those Bears! It was a beautiful night in the mid 60's, slight wind blowing and a perfect win 34-3. Baylor played SHSU (where we both got our Master's degree's from)...so it was fun to watch them both play. OF COURSE, I must say our loyalty will always lie with our alma matter and we routed for our "home team" without a doubt! Here are a few pics of the fun!The Fam ready to cheer for the Bears!
That's what a bear says...ggggggrrrrr! Fierce, I know.
Check out the crowd, it was the 3rd largest opening Baylor game in our history!

Anyone else see the irony? Could I wind up with TWO Baylor Football players in my Family?
