A bunch of happy Hall's!
Not only are we blessed to now have baby Andrew here, we had an awesome Sunday celebrating as an entire Hall Fam with Uncle Corey in town. He flew in to meet baby Andrew and we were all able to gather together to celebrate. As you might have guessed...that means fun family pics. So, here they are!
Mackenzie turns 6...
how can that be? I clearly remember hearing her first cry outside the door. How did our little princess grow up to be a Kindergartner and 6 YEARS old?! The kids and I drove in to Round Rock Saturday around lunch time to spend time and celebrate her special day. My Sis (AKA: Super Mom), had the cutest BD party theme ("You scream, I scream, we all flip for ice cream") at a gymnastics place with ice cream sundaes! The kids loved running around and were super pumped for the ice cream part. The best part from a Mom perspective is that she was able to be a part of the festivities and ENJOY the party! That is great planning and I admire that. After the party, we headed over to my parents house where we got to spend some time with family and some extended family in town from California. Sure wish I lived closer so that I could have stayed longer, but the kids and I left Round Rock around 9pm heading back home. As always I had a blast with family and it made me sad driving home and thinking how far apart we live.
Kennybug,
We are so proud of you. What a beautiful little lady you have turned out to be. I love watching you bounce around with your blonde hair and how you interact with your friends. It warms my heart seeing you as such a loving friend and polite little girl. We will always be here for you and please know a phone call is all it takes and we can rescue you at anytime. Happy Birthday!
Love Uncle Charles & Aunt Stacy

Baby Andrew Has Arrived
After 9 months of waiting Baby Andrew George Hall has finally arrived! He was born on Friday, October 5 at 4:51 pm. He wound up being delivered by way of C-section and was 7lbs 8oz and measured 20 inches. I was able to join everyone at the hospital to greet baby Andrew. My mom and dad were there of course as were Heather's parents and younger sister. It was nice to see so much family and I have to think that even though he is so young that he must feel all the love coming his way. Christopher and Heather were both calm and took everything in stride like they had done all of this before.
Since Stacy and the kids were not able to make it Friday evening with me we all went up the next morning. Stacy immediately stole Andrew away and did not want to give him up. If it weren't for the alarms and security at the hospital we might have wound up with another baby at our house! Cade brought a toy ski boat to show Andrew. He was excited to see him and talk to him. Caelin on the other hand seemed interested at first, but quickly became more interested in her fruit snack in the diaper bag. Also Andrew is so calm and quiet Caelin may have mistaken him for a doll (which she does not play with much at home).
Congratulations Christopher and Heather! We know that you will be wonderful parents. Stacy and I are praying for the two of you and Baby Andrew.

Bearkat Bash
This morning was the Bearkat Bash for Klein High School. As always, Ehrhardt Elementary showed up in droves. It was fun to be with the staff and kids. At 7:30a Cade ran his first race ever with a 1K. I ran with him and we started out strong. However, after about 30 seconds, I began to hear, "Mommy, Why do we do this?", "I am hot, Mommy!", and "Running is not cool." I had to laugh but kept encouraging him. With some walking in between we finished strong. At 8am, Grampee was ready to run the 5K. Since Charles couldn't run due to his back, I slapped on his Bib and ran with Grampee. Well, not actually WITH Grampee (remember he has run almost 20 marathons!), but slightly behind him. I like to think of it as the human form of drafting. Anyway, we finished just over 30 minutes and had fun. Caelin and Gamee spent the morning walking around and playing. Caelin got so hot at one point that he hair turned curly and looked like she had been electrocuted. It was a fun morning with friends and family and we look forward to it next year.
