Polar Express Train

"It doesn't matter where you are going, what matters is that you get on!" -Polar Express
I have to brag on Gamee and Grampee! Throughout the year they do countless amazing things for so many kids. Years ago they built a Polar Express Train and this year they rebuilt part of it and the kids get to enjoy it at their school tomorrow for Polar Express Day. We delivered it tonight and I can only imagine all the kids faces tomorrow as they come through the front of the school. It even has a light and bell on the front now. My favorite part is the hidden message "I Believe" when the kids go inside the train.  Thank you Gamee & Grampee for making this event even more magical!

Ding Dong

We got ourselves a Ring doorbell for Christmas! Who knew it could be hours of family fun!?! We have been dancing, pretend selling things (for the record I will only buy lemon girl scout cookies at the moment), and making faces.

Another Storm game

The team played hard and did so well today, but lost in the last 2 minutes by 2 points.  Caelin scored 2 goals and did a much better job dribbling with control and using a power kick.  We are so proud of her team and she adores Coach Frank!

CFBC Christmas Spectacular

Thank you to the entire CFBC cast of over 400 for an amazing Christmas Spectacular event. We look forward to this every year as a Hall tradition and each year brings new amazement. The laser light show and gymnasts were our favorite this year in the first half.  After intermission comes the story of Jesus which is always a time of reflection.  It is easy to forget what it was like during that time period and the little details that mean so much.  Of course the animals are always a big hit as well and the kids pray silently that Paige (the Elephant) will poop on stage like she did 4 years ago.  This year was a special blessing as we found out that over 1,600 people accepted Christ between all the performances.  What a joyful time time celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Cookie Contest

Decker Prairie has a cookie contest every year...so that means Gamee was ready to jump in on the project and help!  Cade went with a Nativity theme and Caelin a poinsettia.  Each of them had to make 4 doz cookies, so it was not easy.  It was LOTS of hard work for Gamee and a few days of cookie decorating as a family...but we got it done.  Gamee sure gave a labor of love.

UPDATE 12-14-18- Cade won 1st place for appearance with his nativity cookies!  Looks like the family will all enjoy a date to Cold Stone Ice Cream soon!
