Thank you God for a restful week of recharging with family in Grapeland, TX. This is one of my favorite places on Earth as I feel connected with family. Grapeland remind me of the most important things in life, Gog and family. We had the best time with Gamee and Grampee throughout the week!

Cade's first Mission Trip
Cade could not have been more excited to go on his very first mission trip to Pflugerville, TX for 4 days and 3 nights. The students were divided into 2 groups. Cade's group helped run a soccer camp for a local church. Each soccer rotation had a lesson about God and the students would help explain the lessons if campers did not understand. On the last day, they all got a great surprise with being able to visit Sea World. When asked if he would ever go on another mission trip, Cade said most definitely so that he could tell more people about Jesus. We are grateful to Champion Forest Baptist Church for starting his love of missions early. We are so proud of him as parents and cannot wait to watch him succeed in his daily mission field and future trips.

Tribe Weekend Getaway
No better way to start Spring Break than recharging with your Tribe. My heart is full again from each of these ladies and the way we can be ourselves and do life together. We spent the weekend in Conroe reconnecting, recentering, and rejoicing. God sure blessed me when these friendships entered my life. Thank you April, Lisa, Jessica, and Christina for being the best cheerleaders ever!

Still missing you!
It's been 7 years since I last hugged my Daddy. Honestly, not a day has passed since that I have not thought of him in the small daily things of life. March 3 will forever be a date filled with strong emotions and memories. Seven years ago today, I got a middle of the night unexpected call that changed me forever. After a long day surrounded by family and friends, we held his hands, prayed, sang, and watched Daddy relocate to Heaven. Every year, I relive the week and minutes leading up to this and it is suffocating. If you knew Daddy, he changed you. He had an infectious laugh, would help a stranger without thinking twice, had a way of turning anything negative into positive, and never met a stranger. He was one of a kind and I am forever blessed to have had him on loan from God for the 34 years that I did. We miss you daily Daddy and love you more than words.
In honor of Daddy, I was able to capture my "Mother-in-love" (Gamee) and make a trip to Baskin Robbins today. Daddy called this place the "BR Hospital" and a nonfat cappuccino blast was his order every time. It was worth every calorie and the thought of his smile. I even found out that March 3rd is Baskin Robbins' 33 flavors day. Very fitting that Daddy would share this day with the BR Hospital, ha! Love you Daddy!
