Last day of 5th and 7th grade!

What a year of growth and learning for both!  With an early release day, Gamee/Grampee picked up all the cousins and celebrated with an end of the year party at their house.  Water balloons, confetti eggs, treats, gifts and more.  It was a perfect ending to a successful year.

Double Celebrations!

Not only was it Mother’s Day, but also Gamee & Grampee's 47th Wedding Anniversary.  We celebrated with church and then lunch together at Hasta La Pasta.  We must have enjoyed every moment as I forgot to take pictures other than at church.  Today, I am thankful for the gift of being a mother to the best children, and for the role models like my Mom and Gamee that show me the way.  Being a Mom is a lifetime honor that comes with daily sacrifices and I am blessed to have learned exactly how to do this directly from 2 beautiful women.  Proverbs 31

Weekend Fun

It was a busy weekend with the Woodtrace Crawfish Boil and Cade’s Orchestra Spring Trip.  Caelin made us proud and polished off quite a bit of crawfish and Cade followed directions by sending us pictures of him and Basil on the Orchestra trip.  Haha!

Mom’s 74th BD Weekend

Happy Birthday to the best Mama! She has the kindest heart and is a Mom to so many others.  It was a blessed day celebrating her as we enjoyed a Mommy/Daughter Pedicure, shopping, and dinner with the whole family at Shoguns.  God knew what kind of a Mom I needed when he gave me mine.  “3”
