Valentine's Day!

It's easy to celebrate those we love when they are truly such lovely humans.  Each year we have a letter from Charles/I along with a few surprises waiting when they wake up.  This year they each got date nights with us and tickets to watch Shrek the play.  Since I had to pick up Caelin after school, we decided it was best to go by Starbucks and get treats for everyone.  Caelin was also and gave Cade a bag of Skittles she bought him...Cade gave her a special thank you in the form of a head lock in return.  I know they love each other sooooo much, lol.  Happy Valentine's Day!

CFBC Freedom Weekend

There is no greater church that pours into students like CFBC.  Both Cade and Caelin grow so much with events like this.  This year, the theme was "Here, Now, and Forever" and focused on how one encounter with Jesus can change your life. The weekend included: worship, 3 different speakers, discipleship through family groups, music by the band "FRVR Free", and of course the house wars competition.  Charles was the weekend driver for the boy car consisting of Cade, Connor and Parker.  I drove the girls car and escorted the girls Caelin, Hayden, Jasmine, and Kinsley throughout the weekend.  It was truly a weekend to remember.  Thank you CFBC for investing in the next generation!
