One BIG Day!!
So, today was filled with excitement like every day...but with some "firsts" in there as well! Since we had the day off, we got to go to our first "play date", if you will, at our friends' house, the Gonzalez'. Aiden is a month older than Cade, so I know as they grow they will be great friends! He also got a chance to meet some potential girlfriends that were 6 months as well. It was quite funny.
Then, as the day progressed I began thinking of Cade and starting his journey into the solid food realm. I originally wanted him on breast milk only for 6 months, but then was thinking it might be good to start him on it now, so that when we go to his 6 month apt in a few weeks we could ask the doctor about concerns or questions if we had any. We read all the pamphlets and books again (just in case we missed anything) and then started mixing it up! For those veteran parents out there, you know that all the excitement was over in a matter of 10 minutes, but it was still a fun memory that I will never forget. Here are some pics and video of him eating. I was so proud of him and I just can't believe he is growing big enough to eat solids! Where'd my baby go??

15 Year Veteran....FREDERIFIC HALL
What can we possibly say to explain how in awe we are of this amazing accomplishment?! Our Dad/Grandpa just completed his 15th Marathon today! At the ripe ole age of 53, he still has it! With a finishing time of 5 hours and 55 minutes, he finished!! I cannot even fathom running for 30 minutes straight...more or less almost 6 hours!! We are so proud of you and are continually amazed by your dedication and committement to do this every year! Way to finish strong 15 years in a row!!!

Pregnancy Prayer
I had the joy today of going to a baby shower for my friend Laura Watson. She is having twins!! Annabelle and William will be arriving soon! When I got to the shower, I was reminded of just how much pregnancy love we have in our Sunday School class! It is powerful to see God building the families around us. Thank you Lord for the blessing of families, and bless our friends!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please watch over our friends who are blessed with babies at this time. What a special and joyful time this is! We pray for all the little ones in their bellies (and the belly that has 2!) right now and that your will be done in their lives. Keep constant watch over them as they grow and help their parents teach them daily about you.
Amen
