Carolina Creek Camp

My heart is complete again! I just picked up these 3 from 4 days at church camp. Cade took Connor and Parker, while Caelin took Hayden and Rosalie.  Charles went again this year as one of the counselors and had a blast with the 4th grade boys. Unfortunately, I had to stay back to conduct some behavior trainings for our district. Thankfully, I was able to get a few pics daily off of the church website, so I knew they were having a blast. The dress up nights were Dr. Seuss themed, so that was fun to make thier costumes. Bear and I enjoyed snuggles and spreading out across the whole bed while they were gone, but we are so happy to have a loud house again! Thank you to all the Counselors who served from CFBC so that our students could learn more about the gift of God and how to walk in a faith driven light.

Yes, that would be a pool float...

For those wondering, this is what Grandparents do.  They spoil your children with big things and then laugh watching you figure out how to fit it in your car and get it over the pool gate.  It could literally fit our entire family on it.

Happy 4th of July

It is a privilege to live in this great country and a pleasure to celebrate its birth!  Today was a great day relaxing with friends and family.  Home of the free because of the brave!

It's official, our Baby is 10!

Our baby turned 10 today. Time has a way of passing quicker than we would like sometimes. It seems like just yesterday we were staring at her tiny face and wondering what she would be like.  There are simply no words that explain how she has melted our hearts and is treasured and loved.  Anyone that knows Caelin knows she has a heart for helping others, can make anyone laugh with her silliness, can be shy at times in new situations and reminds us to be spontaneous. Her smile is contagious and she works hard at school.  She enjoys soccer, Roblox, chatting with friends, reading graphic novels, and anything SUGAR.  She wants to be a computer/web designer when she grows up and she gets taller by the day (currently 4'11").  I sure wish Papa could see how she grew up and watch her making us laugh.  He would be so very proud knowing God gave us the perfect girl to complete our family.  To celebrate her day, we started with opening presents (Action Bible, Nintendo Switch Mario Cart & games, Nintendo Switch accessories, Breyer horse toy, a year of Disney Plus!, and lots more). We were glad we were able to facetime Nana and the Blevins family!  Then, we snuggled up to watch the new movie Luca together as a family on Disney Plus before getting in some fierce competition on the Nintendo Switch.  Most of the day was spent in pajamas, Caelin's favorite.  For dinner, the Hall family all met at Caelin's favorite resturant, Ciscos. Gamee surprised Caelin with a "Wings of Fire" cake and modeled the cake after the map of the land in the graphic novel series.  Caelin loved every bit of it and even asked if we could keep it forever, ha!  It was a perfect day honoring our girl.  Happy double digits to our one and only Caelin Roe, we love you!
