Cade's 16th Birthday

I am filled with emotions, but here we are. We officially have a 16 year old and our "baby" is more like a "man-child". Cade has always had such a patient and kind spirit. He thrives on serving others and we are proud to be his parents. To celebrate with friends, he went to Saddle River Gun Range and enjoyed a private room and hanging out.  Today he selected taco salad at Gamee/Grampee's house and a party with the fam.  Gamee and Grampee created a record player cake that even spins records! It was amazing and went right along with him getting several new records, a new bass guitar, and a new Amp.  Thank you to everyone who has spoiled him for his special day!  We are blessed by the people who have poured into Cade over the years and helped guide him along his journey so far. Happy BD Cade, we love you more than you can imagine.

Year #23 in Education!

I am so blessed to LOVE what I do and more importantly the people I do it with.  On July 21st, the full Squad came back on contract.  I work all summer and the Officers (Anna/Megan) are only away about 4 weeks...so we miss our teams when we are working and they are not there.  We started the new school year with a "This year is gonna be SWEET theme", like Candy Land...but Behavior Land. Our team did some team building and hit the ground running preparing for our Department Day today.  Seeing everyone in one place and learning together reminds me of how lucky we are. What a blessing it is to get to serve alongside THE BEST team and friends.  The Behavior Squad is ready for a SWEET year serving the Klein community!
