Celebrating 50 years of marriage!

May 14th was one amazing day as Gamee and Grampee celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary. They celebrated by going to California/Oregon for the week and we followed along each day through pictures. Once they were home, the four of us had the joy of celebrating them together. To make the celebration even more meaningful, we gathered at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, a special place for them since it was also where they held their rehearsal dinner 50 years ago. The manager, Juwan, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening memorable by putting together a thoughtful gift basket for the couple. It was a beautiful night filled with gratitude, memories, laughter, and celebration of a love that has truly stood the test of time. Their marriage continues to bless our entire family and show us what faithfulness, strength, and true partnership truly look like.

Caelin's A+ Ceremony

Tomball Independent School District recently recognized high achievement across the district by honoring outstanding students, teachers, and staff at the Annual A+ Academic Awards Ceremony held at Tomball Memorial High School. The A+ Award is a prestigious recognition program that highlights the “best of the best” from each campus, celebrating students and educators who represent excellence in academics, leadership, and character. Caelin was proudly selected as an A+ student for Tomball Junior High School, sharing the honor alongside one of her close friends. Cade was also able to attend and be part of the celebration, making the moment even more special for the family. Charles had the unique opportunity to see Caelin behind the scenes while assisting with the A+ winners from Tomball Intermediate School. It was a meaningful evening filled with pride, recognition, chocolate covered strawberries, and celebration of hard work across the district.

Caelin's Athletic Ceremony

Tonight Tomball Junior High School celebrated its athletes and all of the hard work they put in throughout the year. Over the past two years, Caelin has dedicated countless hours to track and cross country, growing not only as an athlete but also as a person. The coaches invested so much time, encouragement, and care into the students, and without their support Caelin may never have discovered her passion for cross country and her love for high jump. Every athlete was recognized for the sports they competed in, making it a special evening for everyone involved. Caelin was also honored with the Female Cougar Elite award for best representing the school both on the field and in the classroom. It was such a proud moment for our family, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, character, and determination she continues to show every day.

Mother's Day

Mother’s Day began with church as the family gathered together to celebrate the amazing moms in our lives. After church, we stopped by Gamee and Grampee’s house to exchange gifts and spend some time together before heading out for lunch. Even though our reservation plans changed when P.F. Chang's was running behind, the day still turned out wonderfully as everyone gathered instead at Luby's with Gamee, Grampee, Christopher, Heather, Andrew, and Jacob. It was a joyful day full of laughter, family, and gratitude. Stacy continues to be such a loving, supportive, and steady mom who gives so much of herself to our family every day, and Gamee is such a blessing to all of us with her caring heart, wisdom, and constant love for her children and grandchildren. It was a perfect day celebrating two incredible moms who mean so much to our family.

Cade’s Spring Concert

Cade wrapped up the year with his final orchestra concert, and it was a special night celebrating all of the students’ hard work and talent. Gamee and Grampee came to watch, while Caelin and Mom hurried over as soon as the cross country meeting with the new coach ended so they would not miss it. Cade proudly performed as 1st Chair with his orchestra, and the group once again did an impressive job honoring and sending off this year’s seniors. After the concert, everyone gathered at Margaritas & Fajitas to celebrate Cade, with Mrs. April and Conner joining in for a fun evening filled with great food, laughter, and family time.
