Caelin's 1st Dance Recital

Well, we made it through a season (6 months) of dance.  Caelin was excited, but I think maybe she wants to try gymnastics or soccer next.  She faithfully went to the Monday practices and today performed in her first recital.  Nana came into town and Gamee/Grampee were there also.  As always, we had one beautiful little Princess with a lot of supporters!  The recital theme was "Winter Wonderland" with her class performing a ballet routine and a tap routine to Frosty the Snowman.   Even Cade sat through the 23 dances and loved seeing Caelin on stage.  For the first dance (ballet), Caelin was a bit scared and started to cry.  However, she was able to get it together quickly before going on stage with her fellow 3 dance friends.  I was so proud of her courage.  Needless to say the next dance did not take much coaching as she went right out.  Afterward we were all able to go to dinner and enjoy time as one big family.  It was such a fun event...even if Mommy had to learn stage make-up, dance routines, and the difference in tan tights vs tan hose!
