Time to recharge...

These past few weeks have been crazy busy for us. Life has a way of getting so busy that you forget what it is all about. So, as we usually do when this happens, we head to Grapeland, TX. Most have no clue where this is, which is even better. Ha! This is where we can connect with each other, enjoy the great outdoors, no cell phone coverage, Bear can run free outside, houses can be left unlocked, and truck keys can be left on the front seat of the truck. This is how we all wish life still was...our little slice of Heaven down here on earth. We fished, had bb gun competitions (of course I won on accuracy, but Charles got points for his dive rolls and antics), cooked hot dogs/S'mores, watched movies, played games, nature walks, sat by the fire, and watched the moon rise over the lake. It was a perfect way for God to set our priorities back and remind us that everything is ok. The BEST part was that almost every picture we took (using 2 cameras) had orbs in them. Might sound weird to some, but I always think this is my Dad smiling down. We laughed cause we just couldn't get them to go away from some of our pictures!
