Gallbladders are dumb

Late Sunday/early Monday morning, I started having severe abdominal pains. It was high on my stomach area, so I thought it was indigestion at first, but it progressed quickly and I could not get relief no matter how I laid or what meds I tried.  After about 2 hours, I started vomiting and losing consciousness. Charles took me around 2:30am to Tomball hospital.  After a ton of tests, it was quite clear that the cause was my gallbladder and it needed to be removed. The ER doctors admitted me into the hospital, but unfortunately the surgery schedule was full for the day, so I was put on a liquid diet and waiting for 8am surgery time the following day.  Then...as luck would have it, I was then pushed back on the surgery time until 3pm the next day causing me to have to stay a second night in the hospital.  Ugh!  Charles stayed with me at the hospital, while Cindy stayed at our house to help with the kids and Bear.  It was quite an eventful 48 hours, but I am thankful to be on the upswing now and out of pain.
