We kept it low key this year since it was not only during the week, but we also had so many other family commitments. We decorated for breakfast with a few goodies and then for dinner enjoyed steak/potatoes/green beans. For dessert, we had chocolate fondue with fruit, marshmallows, and pretzels. I am so thankful for these wild and crazy kiddos and the life Charles/I have created. Happy hearts day!
While Caelin was excited that she is able to stop turning her pallet expander today, Cade was VERY excited he got his pallet expander taken out at the Orthodontist today! Cade also finally lost his last baby tooth that needed to come out in order to let the permanent one drop down. He still has the "suspension" rods as we like to call them, but we are making progress. Caelin has to get a tooth pulled at the dentist on Feb 20, so I am sure she will be excited for that when she finds out. In the meantime, Charles and I continue to be poor, listen to the complaining, and try to focus on the end result.
