Today was one of those fun "Christmas" days. The kids wrote letters to Santa for Jingle to take tonight. Cade wants the Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots and candy. Caelin would like a castle and a princess movie. I had to laugh at both their excitement while screaming their wants. I was also very proud of Cade's handwriting on his name. It is AMAZING how well a kid does when told, "write neatly so Santa knows who this is from"! Haha! The we attempted to make the Gingerbread house Jingle brought us. It didn't start out so well cause we busted the icing bag and had no tip to squeeze from. HOWEVER, the kids saw that as a plus because then we used used our fingers to wipe all the icing with (or eat). I think we were also missing about half of the candies by the time we got the actual house together. Although, we had a fun time making it and laughing at the kids. THEN, we had an amazing evening with out neighbors, The Pagnozzi's. Seems crazy, but as life happens we don't get to stop and spend time together as we would like. Caelin adores Hana and Ricky is all Cade talks about. They just love seeing them and always hope they are in the driveway when we get home! So, we all packed up and went to Cici's pizza for some fun and a chance to catch up. The kids exchanged gifts and loved spending time together. Of course by the end of the night kids were all cranky, so Cade was not into a photo shoot, but I took a picture anyway. :) Thank you God for amazing friends who live next door and for the blessings we have had from them over the last 10.5 years!
