Happy BD Grampee!

Today, old man Grampee turned 58 years old, so we celebrated the evening with lots of fun! We started the evening with Taco Salad. The adults were happy to sit and eat, but the kids had other ideas.  Once Gamee let it be known that the pool was filled with water for swimming it was game time.  The three cousins had plenty of good times swimming, splashing, jumping, laughing, and yes even washing a toy car. Then it was time for the birthday candles. Cade asked if the number of candles was how old Grampee was.  It was explained to him the store did not have that many candles, but it would be OK.  Everyone enjoyed the Mustached cupcakes (some even had graying hair) and ice cream.  Once everyone had their fill we moved inside to open some gifts.  The biggest hit of the night was a long handled back washer.  The kids thought it was hilarious because they weren't real sure what it was, but some guesses were made: big toothbrush, hairbrush, and back scratcher. All in all it was a great evening filled with celebration and fun.  Looking forward to celebrating 59 next year!
