Caelin got her ears pierced!

We decided on a whim to head to Claire's and get Caelin's ears pierced!  She had been wanting to do this since her BD in July, but you are not supposed to swim for a while and then life just got busy.  So today we headed to the mall with Gamee and Grampee and did it!  For her first pair, she picked her birthstone for July which is a hot pink color.  Caelin was so excited at first, then started to get a little anxious.  By the time it was time to actually do it, she was not happy!  She kept saying "No", but I knew it would not be so bad and it only hurts for a second.  So, she sat in Daddy's lap and 2 ladies did it (one on each ear).  She was still crying when I said, "Caelin...it's over!".  Then she quit crying and everything got better from there.  Gamee and Grampee even bought the kids cookies and they each got to pick out a small celebration toy.  Now she says she loves them!  She even helps us clean the ears and turn the earrings in place.  She cannot wait to be able to change out the earrings in 3 weeks to the pair of rainbows she picked out.  Such a big girl look now.  When did our baby grow up?
