Jersey Barnyard and Bluebonnets

Thankfully I felt up to a little adventure today for the kids Spring Break.  We packed up a picnic lunch and headed out to La Grange, TX for the day to visit the Jersey Barnyard.  The drive through the country was beautiful and it was nice to have some family time to chat and relax to music.  The Jersey Barnyard was such a fun farm!  We were all able to pet/feed all kinds of animals, bottle feed some calves, milk a cow, ride a hayride, and Daddy took the kids through the hay maze.  The weather was GORGEOUS and sunny but cool.  On our way home we visited our favorite winery, Saddlehorn, and visited the bluebonnet fields.  The kids enjoyed playing outside before we headed back home for a movie night.  Such a fun day!
