A trip to the country and the Grapeland Safari

We decided to head to Grapeland for 3 nights to enjoy the lake this past week.  We enjoyed movies, games, Geocaching in Augusta/Crockett and exploring around us.  The highlight was the Grapeland Safari.  We have passed this place for years but never had time to stop.  It was hilarious and the TUB of food went rather quickly between the camels, donkeys, cows, yaks, pigs, bison, gazelles, ostrich, zebras, etc.  Once we finished the driving portion, we were able to do a small petting zoo with goats, pigs, turkeys, large tortoise, guineas, etc. We even got to hold a 2 week old baby goat and piglets!  SO MUCH FUN!
