The boys go to Carolina Creek Camp

Cade and I had the opportunity to attend Preteen Camp at Carolina Creek. He and the other kids loved “The Jungle” in the treetops, a water park, miniature golf, river rafting, archery and much more. Cade made lots of new friends and was the best shot in the group.  The theme for the week was Level Up. We were tasked with learning who God and Jesus are and what the Bible is. There was a Mario dress-up night and a video arcade dress-up night. Cade dressed up as Mario himself and I was a football player from the NCAA college football game. Despite all extracurricular fun that we had the best part is that kids came closer to Christ! These kids had an incredible experience making friends, exploring God's Word, and learning to trust the Lord at a deeper level. We learned that when we eliminate distractions and focus on Jesus, big things happen in our hearts.
