A Nerf celebration

Such a perfect day celebrating Cade's BD! It was a LOT of boys, flying darts, sun, and battles of capture the flag. Cade's best gift was when Mackenzie and Jaxson surprised him by coming into town.  His teacher from 3rd grade, Mrs. Moline, even came to say hello and see all the boys.  We had been collecting used Nerf guns for months so that every boy could have one to use.  Outside of the clubhouse, we set up 3 stations for target practice and score cards for each kid.  They also drew buffs when they arrived to determine which team they were on.  After target practice, we took them to the field where we had spray painted old boxes so that each team could build their own forts during capture the flag.  It was perfect and a LOT of fun.  Gamee once again amazed us with her Nerf themed cake and Cade's face was priceless when he saw it!  Before the Blevins' had to leave town, we were able to eat at one of Cade's favorite restaurants, Blue Iguana in Magnolia.  We are exhausted but blessed to have had such a fun day celebrating Cade.
