Meet the Teacher

Tonight, we had the honor of meeting our teachers for 2nd and 4th grade!  Caelin was super shy, but her teacher, Mrs. Short, was able to get her out of her shell.  Caelin was excited to straighten her hair and dress up to meet Mrs. Short.  Mrs. Short even let Caelin pick her desk and sit in it.  Cade was excited to meet his teachers, but is still getting over having to go back to school soon.  Ms. Lambright is his homeroom teacher and was so kind and passionate about reading (Cade's favorite of course).  Ms. Wolfe was all smiles and shared some exciting activities they will be doing in Math/Science this year.  You can tell right away that both teachers are creative and will be able to make learning fun!  We were all SO excited to know that both kids had friends in their classes.  This makes leaving them on the first day much easier knowing they have friends to support them.  The evening was made complete when the kids saw Ms. Shona (#1 bus driver) there greeting students.  She is such a gift to us every morning to see her smiling face.  It is going to be a GREAT year for them both and we are praying for all the teachers and students as we start the year in just 3 more days.
