Grapeland, TX

A trip to Grapeland always makes the summer bucket list!  There is just nothing like being surrounded by God's nature, no cell phones, friends and fishing.  Even though we still had some chores (tree cutting, mowing, power washing, siding repair, and reconnecting the water lines), we had time to play cards, cook together, explore the thriving town of Grapeland and Palestine, and build fires at night.  We even had the joy of celebrating Grampee's birthday and Father's Day for Charles/Grampee.  My highlight of the week was watching Charles load the 12ft johnboat into the back of the minivan so we could get it down to the dock to fish.  Hahaha!  This week was filled with joy and memories!
