Today we all had mixed emotions as our vacation was coming to an end. We started our day (July 5th) with brunch at Colophones before heading to the airport. Our first flight from Bellingham to Vegas was at 1:40pm and was on time and easy going. When we got to Vegas, we learned our 4.5 hour layover was turned into a 6.5 hr layover. Of course, not ideal, but every single part of our last 9 days had gone smoothly and without a problem. So, it is hard to complain a 2 hour more delay. We chose to think of it as more time from God to be togeher. We read books, played cards, laughed, made bracelets, lost $10 on slots, and ate dinner. We finally boarded our last flight at 10:40pm and it was a 2.5hr flight. With the time change, it wound up being 3:40am when we landed on July 6th. We quickly grabbed our luggage and headed to the Park and Fly to grab our car and head home. We FINALLY walked in the house at 5:00am and basically all went straight to bed. Thank you Jesus for the memories these last 10 days and this precious family you gave me.
