The CFBC Christmas Spectacular was yet again an unforgettable evening. Gamee and Grampee spoiled the whole family with tickets and it was so nice to relax and enjoy dinner and the show. I am always amazed at the way our church members dedicate so much time during this busy season to practice and put on a performance that impacts so many. My favorite part at the end of every church service is when the church is dark and those who have started their walk with Jesus for the first time turn on their phone light. To look around the auditorium and see all the lights always brings tears to my eyes. It's a simple visual reminder that Jesus and his love is the true purpose for not only this season, but life.
Cade was gone hunting this year during the performance, so he and Gamee had a special date night just the 2 of them earlier in the week with dinner and the show. I think Cade loved having this time with Gamee more than being with the whole family. We are so grateful for the love they have for each other.
