Growing our Family...

Well, what can I say? I started to think of a cute way to announce this, but, darn it...I'm so excited here it goes...

WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!

Yes, you read that right! Please do not fall out of your chairs ladies and gents...but the Hall's are having another miracle baby. Most of you know the details, but for those who may not, this is a true miracle and gift from God! Let's just say I continue to shock my doctors. I just LOVE proving to them that God knows more than they do...hehehehe! Anytime for a baby is a perfect time in my opinion, but I do understand (a little) that I will be extremely busy this summer! We told our families at Thanksgiving with Special Event tickets we ordered online. We were able to personalize them and they turned out really cute!
The Tickets we ordered to surprise everyone!

Telling Gam-ee and Gramp-ee!
So, here's the stuff you all want to know:
  • I am 10 weeks along today
  • The baby is almost the size of a lime!
  • Official C-section date is July 7th. This makes me so happy because it was Gangaw Watt's BD. I know she is LOVING this and smiling down on us. I couldn't ask for a better day and way to honor her! I hope the baby waits and comes on that day, but since Cade was almost 2 weeks early...one can never be sure!
  • This means the kids will be 23 months apart
  • We have NO IDEA on names, thought we would wait until we find out if it's a boy or girl...that will help eliminate 50% of names! :)
  • We find out boy/girl sometime in February...we do not care AT ALL...but I seem to be a lil nervous about raising a girl! That means bows, matching dresses, make-up, tampons, and did I mention a wedding?? But then again, my wild man Cade sometimes makes me think a girl might be nice and calm! Ha!
  • Differences in this pregnancy and Cade's: my sense of smell is not as bad with this pregnancy, I am showing faster this time and appear to already have a little "pooch", having a harder time sleeping through the night now, not as many cramps this time around, BUT I am extremely sick with this pregnancy! So, we will have to see if the difference in my body prove the old myths that it's a girl this time!

So, keep us in your prayers as we celebrate and pray daily for the health of our family! We could not be more excited to expand our family and can't believe this baby is so loved already!

Christopher gets MARRIED!!

Charles' Brother, Christopher, tied the knot yesterday to a BEAUTIFUL Bride named Heather. Heather is a teacher and is a match made in Heaven for Christopher! I know they will live a long happy life together and we wish them all the best. The weather was perfect and almost 200 were in attendance to see them say their vows. They are leaving for Germany on their Honeymoon! We know they will have an amazing time!

Congratulations to you both. We are here if you need anything and look forward to seeing you grow as one and start your own family. We love you!!

The most adorable lil man in THE WORLD! Obviously the shirt would not stay in and he hated the cumberbun! So, we stayed half undressed the whole night. But that is how you know you are having fun!

Dad's late life crisis!

Check out Dad's late life crisis! Check out his hot wheels! Here are some stats off my Sister's blog (since she beat me to the post already! Thanks Sis...). I can't wait to drive this baby!
This is the Mopar Challenger, a special edition car that Mopar (now Dodge) designed and brought back from the original muscle car. The blue stripe and accents are the original mopar blue color! How ironic that before Mopar became Mopar, they were Plymouth...and the same blue color. There are only 500 of these cars made in the US and canada and Dad got #267. There are 3 color choices for the accents and pinstripe: blue, silver, and red. Dad of course chose the blue and the original car is a pearl black color. So far, Dad has the only one of these in South Texas! We heard their might have been one delivered up in North Texas, but we are not sure. It runs almost 400HP stock and has a 5.7 liter hemi V-8 engine, gloss black wheels, a black chromed grill, functional hood scoops and vintage hood pins reminiscent of pony car area of the 1960's and 1970's. It is a beautiful car!

Welcome to the Family Jaxson Bentlee Blevins!!

I have to share the best news EVER...My Nephew, Jaxson Bentlee Blevins is HERE! I know many of you thought my Sister might carry this baby for another year, but he has finally arrived! Welcome to the family Lil Jax! You are so spoiled already!

JAXSON BENTLEE BLEVINS
November 21st, 2010 (Sunday)
9lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long
Born at 9:09am
Apgar scores: 9 and 9
(I think 9 shall be his lucky number!)

Make sure you watch his expressions in all the photos below! These were taken about an HOUR after birth! He is smiling and looking around in almost all of them! He is very alert and so smart already! He was actually holding up his head while the nurses were examining him right after birth...strong AND SMART!!! Get in line ladies, I'm taking applications for dating now!

I love this picture as this was the face Mackenzie made when she first heard baby Jax cry! She was waiting outside the delivery room for "her baby Jax".

Here she is after I asked, "Is that your baby brother?" She laughed and said, "Yeeeessss!!!!"

Daddy with his 2 babies!

Jax' lil feet...or BIG feet as I say!

This pic cracks me up cause he is so happy and his belly is SO FULL from eating! Check out that buldge!

Proud Auntie with her little boy...no comments on the no make-up folks...we slept 2 hours and were at the hospital by 2:30am! He is so worth it!!!!!!!!!
Even though Papa had a full ankle replacement about a week ago, he and his scooter wheeled on up to the hospital to see Jax!

Nana and her lil man, I love how he is smiling!

Happy Birthday Stacy!

Happy Birthday to the kindest and most loving person someone could hope to spend their life with. You are a wonderful mother, wife, and friend (anyone who has met her will attest). May this new year bring you joy and happiness like you have never experienced before.

I only hope to return to you in some way the great gift God gave to Cade and I in you.

A perfect week

What a crazy week this has been! Cindy, Cade and I decided to take a trip to Fairfax, Virginia to visit Charles' Great Grandma (Mamee). Mamee is 97 and doing well. She is a joy to be around and still has a sense of humor. She is Cade's GREAT GREAT Grandmother! Imagine that! This was the first time she met Cade and it was a joy to see them together. Cade was his usual ham and into everything, and I think Mamee enjoyed having the "noise" around...well I think she enjoyed SOME of it! :) Cindy's 3 sisters also joined us (Linda, Donna, and Laura), so it was fun hanging out with all the girls! Another first was Cade riding on a plane and he has always loved planes. I am not sure he really knew what exactly to think. He did fairly well on the 3 hr plane rides, just one major screaming fit in which we huddled in the bathroom to muffle the noise for other passengers. Not our finest hour! More Foliage while on a walk...

One of the days we were there, the 4 Sisters, Cade and I went to a Farmer's Market. It was beautiful and I really wish we had some market's like this where we live! We would be eating like King's! Everything was so fresh and bright colors!
Cade trying to pick up the pumpkins...I think he wanted to test his football skills with the largest pumpkin!

The night before we left Virginia, we watched the greatest FB game of the Season on TV!! The Baylor Bears upset the Longhorns in their own stadium with a win of 30-22!! We are so proud of our bears and I just have to brag! You know ALL my UT friends are hearing about this!!! Next on the list, Oklahoma State this coming weekend, then on to conquer those Aggies. Watch out Aggies, we're coming your way!! Heeeeyyyy SIC 'EM BEARS!

To Top off the week, it was HALLOWEEN! Cade was the cutest lil Lion ever. Even though he would not "roar" while getting candy! He was a good sport and we trick-or-treated for about 20 minutes at our church festival. Then, the costume came off and Cade played around with everyone. He was not really understanding the whole idea and had more fun running around and pretending he had a football in his arms.
