Family time is always the best time. Unfortunately, we have learned the hard way that we are not always guaranteed tomorrow with the ones we love. So, we do our best to have at least 1 (hopefully 2) vacations per year as a large family with the Blevins crew and Nana. This time we left all the dogs behind and spent time on Lake LBJ in Kingsland, TX for 5 days and 4 nights. It is hard to pick pictures to share as there were over 500 between us all. We spent the time: relaxing on patio, reading with a view on patio (even if only 5 pages at a time, ha), enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, kayaking, renting a pontoon boat, tubing, fishing, eating at the Grand Central Cafe (where Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed), s’mores, shopping, swimming at the Marble Slab, Longhorn Caverns, games, and great food. My personal highlight was getting Nana on the tube for her first tube ride at the age of 73! So grateful to have times like these to share and make memories with.
