We needed our sleep this morning, so we slept in till about 9:30am. We fixed coffee and cinnamon rolls before heading to explore West Yellowstone. We had a great afternoon at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. It was nice to learn more about the animals we are seeing in Yellowstone. Cade and Caelin both loved the ground squirrels, Charles loved the wolves and I adored the Bears. The discovery center held hawks, eagles, owls, wolves, bears, ground squirrels, and otters. We learned that all the animals in the discovery center were not able to be reintroduced to the wild, so they are used for educational purposes. After that, we shopped around town for souvenirs and did a lot of people watching. For souvenirs, Cade purchased a t-shirt and a Richardson knife (Bridger style) with a 5.5 inch blade. The handle is made out of Elk antler. Caelin purchased a t-shirt, stuffed animal (Moose), and a back scratcher. Lol. For dinner, we ate at T.R.'s Burger House which was delicious. We ended the evening at the cabin relaxing and making smores. It was a great day!
